Vaselli Stone Kitchens & Bathrooms

Vaselli is a stone kitchen and bathroom range built around solid, natural stone rather than thin surface finishes. Sinks, worktops, basins and bathing pieces are cut from stone, so the material you see is the material all the way through.

It suits London and Hertfordshire homes where the kitchen or bathroom is meant to be the quiet centrepiece of a renovation or extension — calm, heavy, tactile and made to last. We supply and install Vaselli alongside our own joinery, so stone and cabinetry can be planned together from the start.

What's included

We look after the whole job, from first sketch to the day you use the tap for the first time.

  • Design. Layouts drawn around your room, your plumbing and how you actually cook, wash and store things.
  • Stone and surface options. We take you through the stone choices in the Vaselli range and help you match them to floors, walls, joinery and light levels in your home.
  • Sinks and worktops. Stone sinks, worktops and splashbacks specified as one piece of design rather than bolted on at the end.
  • Bathroom furniture. Basins, vanity units and stone bathroom pieces, which can be paired with our own bespoke bathroom furniture made in the Watford workshop.
  • Delivery and installation. Stone is heavy and unforgiving, so it is delivered and fitted by people who handle it every week, working to your site programme.

How it works

  1. Consultation. We talk through the room, the rest of the project and roughly what you want to spend, so nobody wastes time on a design that will not work.
  2. Survey. We measure at your home and check services, access and floor build-up. Stone needs proper support, so this matters.
  3. Design and samples. You see drawings and handle real stone samples before anything is ordered. Stone varies from piece to piece, and we would rather you saw that in your own light.
  4. Order. Once you have signed off drawings and finishes, we place the order and confirm the programme with you.
  5. Fitting. Our fitters install the stone and any joinery, protect the areas they work in and tidy as they go. We snag the job with you at the end.

Frequently asked questions

What is Vaselli made from?

The range is based on natural stone, used in solid form for pieces such as sinks, worktops and basins. We will show you the stone options available and explain how each one behaves in a working kitchen or bathroom.

Can I see samples before I decide?

Yes. We would encourage it. Natural stone varies in colour and veining, so photographs only take you so far. Come to the showroom and workshop in Watford, or ask us to bring samples to a design meeting so you can see them in your own room.

How do I look after a stone kitchen or bathroom?

Day-to-day care is simple, but different stones want different treatment, particularly around oils, wine and acidic cleaners. We will tell you exactly how to clean and maintain the stone you have chosen before we hand the job over.

How long does it take?

Lead times depend on the stone, the size of the job and when your site is ready. We give you dates for design sign-off, delivery and fitting once we have surveyed and you have chosen your materials, so you can plan around other trades.

What if something needs adjusting after fitting?

Call or email us and we will sort it. We are a local, independent business based in Watford, not a call centre, so you deal with the same people who did the work.

How we prepare a quote

A quote follows the survey and the design drawings, because the stone, the sizes and the amount of fitting all change the figure. We price the stone pieces, any joinery, delivery and installation, and set it out so you can see what each part costs.

If you want a rough idea of budget before drawings exist, tell us the room size and what you have in mind and we will be straight with you about the range you are likely to be in. Please ask us to confirm current pricing, any design fee and payment stages in writing before you commit.
