An Intervari kitchen is drawn for one home only — yours. We measure your room, design the cabinetry around how you cook and live, and then make it in our joinery workshop on Shakespeare Industrial Estate in Watford, a short drive from north‑west London.

Because the design team and the makers work under the same roof, the kitchen you approve on paper is the kitchen that arrives on site. If a detail needs changing, we can walk to the bench and talk it through rather than send it away to someone else.

What's included in a bespoke Intervari kitchen

We look after the kitchen from first sketch to the last adjustment. That normally covers:

A home survey — we visit and take our own measurements, and check services, levels and access.
Design drawings — plans and elevations so you can see the layout, cabinet sizes and details before anything is made.
Cabinetry made in our Watford workshop — doors, carcasses, drawers, islands and any tall or awkward pieces the room needs.
Worktops — chosen and templated to suit the design, including stone through our Vaselli range.
Appliance planning — we design around the appliances and sinks you want, and allow for the services they need.
Fitting — installation of the cabinetry and worktops on site.

How it works, step by step

First meeting. Tell us about the room, how you use it and what you want it to feel like. You are welcome to visit the showroom and workshop in Watford and meet the people who will build your kitchen.
Survey and design. We measure at your home, then produce drawings and talk through materials, finishes, handles, lighting and appliances.
Sign‑off. Nothing is cut until you have approved the final drawings and the specification.
Making. Your cabinetry is made in our own joinery workshop, not bought in as a flat pack.
Installation. We fit the kitchen on site and coordinate with your builder for services and finishing trades.
Aftercare. Doors and drawers settle in a new room. If something needs adjusting later, you call us directly.

How we give you a price

Every bespoke kitchen is priced individually, because the size of the room, the cabinetry, the finishes, the worktop and the appliances all change the figure. After the first meeting we can give you a realistic idea of the budget your ideas sit in, and a firm quotation follows once the design and specification are agreed.

Some bespoke kitchen projects begin with a design fee that covers the survey, drawings and design time. Please ask us at your first meeting to confirm how this works for your project and what any fee includes before you commit.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a bespoke kitchen take?

It depends on the size of the kitchen, the finishes and how busy the workshop is, so we give you a programme in writing with your quotation. As a guide, allow time for design and sign‑off, then a making period in the workshop, then installation. Tell us your building programme early and we will plan backwards from it.

Can you work alongside my builder or architect?

Yes. We regularly work with builders, architects and interior designers on renovations and extensions. We will attend site meetings, work to your drawings and agree who is responsible for electrics, plumbing, plastering and flooring so nothing falls between trades.

What materials can I choose from?

Because the cabinetry is made in our workshop, we can work in a wide range of timbers, veneers, painted finishes and worktop materials, including stone through our Vaselli range. Come to the Watford showroom and workshop to handle samples rather than choosing from a screen.

Can I change the design once we've started?

Small changes are usually straightforward while we are still designing. Once you have signed off the drawings and the cabinetry is being made, changes become harder and can affect cost and timing, so we take care to get every detail agreed before anything is cut.

Is the furniture really made by you?

Yes — our bespoke Intervari cabinetry is made in our own joinery workshop at Unit 5A, Shakespeare Industrial Estate, Watford WD24 5RR. You are welcome to visit and see your kitchen being made.

What happens if something needs adjusting after fitting?

You call us. The same team that designed and made your kitchen deals with any adjustment, so you are not passed between a retailer, a manufacturer and a fitter.
